Seems Infinate Kind think Android is a small market not worth their time? this app is a bit of a joke compared to the official free app for iphone users.. lucky iphone has so many more users... ohh wait that has changed... lol

I had a go at the. Trial download but I foun d the stocks & shares investment section much too complicated and after 2 days trying I have now given up and going back to Ace Money.

I find moneydance to be a brilliant program for keeping all your accounts together business, cash, or home. Download statements from all banks and keep your expenditure well recorded. I have my statements from 1993 moved from microsoft money as could not use msmoney on my mac but with moneydance I can use anby platform and carry my backup on a USB.

I just switched over to MD from Quicken 2007. I tried Quicken Essentials but it was so bad that I had to look elsewhere. I tried to recreate exactly the memorized report that I had in Quicken but there was one detail that I could not recreate. In Quicken when selecting which Classes (Tags) will be included in the report there is an option to also select -No Class-. Most of my personal transactions do not have tags. I have some transactions that have tags related to my wife's business. If I leave unchecked the "Filter by Tag" checkbox I get all transactions because there is no -No Tag- option.

I guess the first question I should have asked is this the correct place to suggest an enhancement?

Nick, thanks for that. I'm considering purchasing MD and your comment seems very reasonable and is very helpful. That there's no response to it when you've clearly spent lots of time and effort writing it speaks volumes and actually damages my confidence in the MD developers.

Hello - I note that Handybank for Android is not available on the Middle East Android Market. I use Moneydance but without this functionality I am almost ready to give up.

I have written to Mennesoft and have not heard back. Any chance you are able to make this available via an online purchase via your website ?

Small point to ponder. I bought the latest version and therefore I have nothing to compare, so MD looks and performs just fine. I chose MD in preference to QE and ibank. However, I do compare MD to Quicken 2011. After 21 years of Quicken there are a couple of compromises I have had to make, thats life.

The functionality I miss the most is scanned receipts and Bank Statements. Hopefully the team will get to this request soon. I do agree with the complaints about the Split transaction, it sure is clunky after Quicken.

I am holding out for a native Android MoneyDance app. I'm switching to a tablet computer soon (as are many other people) and don't know what I'm going to do without my MoneyDance!!! :(

I have the net worth graph enabled at the top of the Moneydance screen. Should this value be updated after the "quotes and exchange rates" extensions runs? If not, seems like a good update.

Hi, just to say I'm very pleased with the free upgrade to the latest version of Moneydance, and also the handheld app which I now have working and syncing between my desktop, Ipad and Ipod Touch. The functionality of the app version is very simple(no searchability) but it does have all my transactions for the last year in date order, for all accounts, and individual transactions can be edited or added. Keep up the good work!

Hi Kim,
You can do this by selecting all transactions from category 1 in a register (using the quick-search field should help) and selecting Batch Change->Category from the popup (right/control-click menu) and selecting category 2. You can repeat this for any accounts that use that category then delete category 1.

Hi Gavin, I promise we are working incredibly fast on getting the dropbox syncing version finished and released. We're making good progress and it will be available sooner. The wifi syncing does work as long as your router isn't blocking the bonjour broadcast, which unfortunately applies to a lot of people.

Any update on the new iPhone app with dropbox sync. I get so tired of trying to deal with firewall issues everytime I need to sync. While dropbox would be great, even syncing initiated on the computer (like YNAB) would be better. No problems with that form of syncing.

I think it is borderline false advertising that you are including iphone syncing as one of the MoneyDance features! It is extremely disappointing that you have taken so long to fix this despite a very large number of users having problems. The desktop application is very good but I suggest you pull the iphone app until it is working for ALL!
